Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy explains cancellations and refunds for bookings made on CarePixel.
1. Subscriptions (Clinics/Hospitals)
All subscription plans purchased by clinics/hospitals are non-refundable once activated, unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing.
2. Bookings (Patients) — Provider Policy Applies
CarePixel is a technology platform and collects payments on behalf of the clinic/hospital/provider. The Provider is responsible for service delivery and owns the refund decision.
Refunds and cancellation rules can vary across Providers. Before confirming a booking, the user may be asked to:
- review the Provider's refund/cancellation policy (via link), and
- accept it using a checkbox confirmation.
3. Platform-Level Principles (Baseline)
Even when Provider policies apply, CarePixel follows these baseline principles:
3.1 Provider-Initiated Cancellations
If the Provider cancels a confirmed booking, the booking is generally expected to be eligible for a refund as per the Provider's policy.
3.2 Patient-Initiated Cancellations
If the patient cancels, refunds (if any) are processed according to the Provider's policy and cut-offs.
3.3 Payment Gateway Charges
Payment gateway charges / bank / network fees may be non-refundable where applicable.
4. How Refund Requests Work
- Users can initiate refund requests from booking history or via CarePixel support.
- CarePixel will route the request to the Provider for approval and processing.
- If approved by the Provider, refunds (if applicable) are returned to the original payment method.
5. Timelines
After Provider approval, refunds typically take 5–10 working days to reflect, depending on the payment method and banking partner.
